Summary
I'm Noah Weston. For a decade, I've quarterbacked America's most iconic football team and plowed my way through women. Now I'm transitioning from star player to retired jock-with a cloud of allegation hanging over my head. So I'm escaping to the private ocean-front paradise I bought for peace and quiet. What I get instead is stubborn, snarky, wild, lights-my-blood-on-fire Harlow Reed. Since she just left a relationship in a hugely viral way, she should be the last woman I'm seen with.

On second thought, we can help each other . . .

I need a steady, supportive 'girlfriend' for the court of public opinion, not entanglements. Harlow is merely looking for nonstop sweaty sex that wrings pleasure from her oh-so-luscious body. Three months-that's how long it should take for us both to scratch this itch and leave our respective scandals behind. But the more I know this woman, the less I can picture my life without her. And when I'm forced to choose, I'll realize I don't merely want her in my bed or need her for a ruse. I more than love her enough to do whatever it takes to make her mine for good.

Contains mature themes.

Loved the intense attraction from the beginning on both characters. Couldn't stop listening....i heard it 2x! The narrator was awesome in making the story come to life. I could really picture every steamy detail.

It drew me in and made me empathize with the characters. I didn't want the story to end. The narrator's voice is hot, too!

I really enjoyed More Than Love You. Shayla Black’s story was engaging, and the narrator, Christian Fox, was excellent: Noah sounded like a hunk (lol) and Harlow didn’t sound like a ditzy blonde (no offense). The description is a bit misleading because Noah is introduced as a famed quarterback (presumably for the Dallas Cowboys) with more than one Super Bowl ring ”transitioning from star player to retired jock — with a cloud of allegation hanging over my head” and in need of ”a steady, supportive ’girlfriend’ for the court of public opinion, not entanglements.” He is described as needing Harlow ”for a ruse.” That is both inaccurate and untrue, as the ”cloud” doesn’t show up until approximately two-thirds through the book and Noah’s intentions toward Harlow were not what is represented. Also, Harlow was involved with someone in a particular way that should have been resolved but wasn’t — No spoiler here! The dialogue was refreshingly realistic and entertaining. Harlow’s educational background made her Noah’s equal — Indeed, most of the characters were three-dimensional. The sex scenes were exceptionally descriptive and enjoyable … if a little overly sentimental for a supposedly rugged, unmarried Alpha male with a reputation for the ladies. A minor point, I know. It didn’t bother me too much, and while it made Noah even more irresistible to the listener, it came off as a bit implausible for the character of pro athlete womanizer that he was supposed to be. NOTE TO ATHEISTS: Neither religion nor sin rear their ugly head in this steamy hot tale. NOTE TO THEISTS: Non-religious themes are completely absent from this story. So everybody who wants sexy relationship storytelling should be very happy.

One of my least favorite. Could get past the first 10 minutes of listening. Going to delete it from my collections.

Average but enough curiosity created in the storyline to make me listen through to the end. .
