Never Have I Evan was my first DJ book. I loved it so much I had to have more of Granville and this friend group. The bond that this group has makes me wish I lived there! The story of Dawson and Evan coming together was so realistic and so downright hot! Dawson realizing that he could love Evan. Evan realizing that he’s more than just a tech geek and he can be loved by this sexy man. So… let’s get to the narrator… I had never listened to a book narrated by John Solo. Well that will change after I write this review. His voice brought Evan and Dawson to life in a way that I felt like I was watching it as opposed to reading or listening to it. The emotion and his Dawson voice… well I’ll just say it was perfect. If you want a listen that will make you feel something for the characters and introduce you to a nosy but awesome town. This is your book!
