Summary
The stories were all wrong — Hook was never the villain.

For two centuries, all of the Darling women have disappeared on their 18th birthday. Sometimes they’re gone for only a day, some a week or a month. But they always return broken.

Now, on the afternoon of my 18th birthday, my mother is running around the house making sure all the windows are barred and the doors locked.

But it’s pointless.

Because when night falls, he comes for me. And this time, the Never King and the Lost Boys aren’t willing to let me go.

NOTE: The Never King is a reimagining of Peter and Wendy. Characters have been aged up for this darker, grittier version. If you like your enemies to lovers romance with hot, ruthless, morally gray love interests, you’ll enjoy The Never King and the Lost Boys. You can expect hate kissing, fighting, bickering, and ‘touch her and I’ll unalive you’ vibes. Book one ends on a cliff.

This book was a fun, short read. If you're looking for smut, it has what you're looking for! I hope the main story gets stronger as the series goes on.

I honestly wish it had been longer. It definitely has SPICE, which I'm a big fan of. The narration was great, I absolutely love Stella Hunter. I'll be grabbing the second book in the near future.

Great narrators, got me hooked from start. Easy read, if you are into this type of reading, ( sexplicit, bsdm, cnc, etc) the book ends on a cliffhanger Not meant as a single read.

Not much of a plot. There could have been a bit more of a climax but not sure if the other books in the series make up for it.

Although short, this novel covers dark romance and reverse harem tropes- if that’s not for you, skip this one. Multiple narrators is a such a fun experience. The storyline is interesting and the sex scenes do not disappoint. However, the fact that Winnie is barely 18 years old, still in high school, and this sexually active with grown adults has me personally cringing.

I like a bit of smut in a story. But this was all smut no story. Shame because the bones of an interesting world was there..
