Unabridged Audiobook
TOTALLY not what I expected. I though this book had a supernatural twist. Yah. No. Where as I would not normally pick a book like this. I thought it was very well written. Not a real pick me up though. But unlike others, I liked the ending.

This book was hard to follow in parts. It was definitely a psych book and entertaining and I eventually got it together....but I truly do not want to work hard to piece a book together or keep it together in my head.
Difficult to hear when you are a victim of child abuse, but good read. Ending wasn’t so great....
very interesting and very enlightening
This book is a story of self growth and processing a very real childhood trauma. I was very invested into the beginning of this book hoping for a spooky supernatural twist. The narrator did a great job of absorbing the roll of the main character and making her thoughts and feelings come to life. I was turned off by the plot-turn of the novel and hoped it was some weird misunderstanding and it was uncomfortable for the rest of the book. I think a little more clarity in the books description would’ve prevented me from choosing this book. I understand it’s heartbreaking real life, but a bit of warning would’ve been ideal. The book just seemed to punch you in the face and then end. I finished it, but I was hoping for more.
