Unabridged Audiobook
The book was ok. I think it was kind of deceiving in the beginning when she says it’s for all women, but after listening, it’s not really for my divorced female friend who can’t have children. Jen has a little too much energy, like she’s trying too hard. I couldn’t stay engrossed in the book because the narrating got on my nerves, so I’d listen to one chapter and then have to take a break. But maybe because I’m an introvert.
This is my first time reading a book by Jen Hatmaker. I LOVED this book! She makes you laugh, cry, and she makes you think. She makes you examine your beliefs by giving you new ways to look at the Whys and What ifs. I highly recommend this audiobook! If you’re an ultra-conservative Christian, you may be offended by some of her language and views on Jesus and God... Read it anyway!
I am such a fan, I loved seven and for the love and of mess and moxie may be my favorite!
Jen is just the best! So real, and funny, and genuine. I cried, I laughed, but mostly I learned so many wonderful things about life, love, and Jesus. Well done, Jen. Best book yet.
