I really enjoyed this book. Was not sure about it at all. Never heard or read anything by the author. Very well written with a good twist. A must read or listen to.

Im enjoying Lisa Jewells Books. Always Twist and exciting.

It wasn't bad. A lot of back and forth and sometimes took a sec to figure out what time we were in and who's memory. However characters were good and I really didn't expect it to go the way it went. I expected an entirely different outcome.

A book with minimal predictability, I enjoyed it! The different dialects were well done and made the characters come to life. I recommended this book to my mom's book club!

Not my kind of book.

You know those books that are slow burns and end with a bang? This isn't one of them. The pacing is slow and the payoff isn't really worth it. The narrator did a great job capturing each character's unique personalities.

I thought this book was going to be a trite little literary lark, but I was wrong. This book was fabulous, and gripping, and soulful. It could have gone deeper and more meditative but that would have put it into a different class entirely. This was a wonderful, “just deep enough” novel that was just long enough, had just the right amount of characterization, and just a smattering of romance to make it a wow bet!

I really enjoyed listening to this book. Lisa Jewell never seems to disappoint. A lot of twists, some predictable, some not. Kept a good pace throughout the entire book. Narration was great as well.

This book started out very slowly, and the author can get tedious with long, repetitive lists. However, once I got a few chapters into the story, I was hooked. I was never really sure in what direction the plot was going, but I enjoyed that aspect of the book. Overall, I would recommend!

Thoroughly enjoyable book with wonderfully colorful characters and great narration - couldn't stop listening until I finished it! Would make such a great movie (with soundtrack of course!)

I really enjoyed this book too. The narrator was the right voice for the story and did a great job with the other characters. I loved the story, which was not what I was expecting and I thought it was a good mystery too. There are certain books that pull you in and you want to find out what happens next. That is a sign of good writing and this book has it.

This book was interesting and I am glad I listened to it, although it felt like it was a little tired in its story-line. Even so, it was a story worth listening to and the narrator was okay to hear in my ears for the duration.

Very schmaltzy and syrupy tale where everything just falls into place in a matter of a few unrealistic days. Only read if you like fairytales and after school special entertainment.

I sent too sure about this book at first but as the story unfolded I became more interested in these characters. Each had a distinct personality and the narrator did a good job with each one’s voice. I liked it a lot.

This started off really slowly, I had to push myself to stay with it. Once the story was really rolling I still had to work to maintain interest. I finally gave up and didn’t finish.
