Unabridged Audiobook
I loved this book but I hated it at the same time. I think this is one of only a handful of books that I cried my eyes out and then laughed at the epilogue
Narration was excellent. The story, twisted, sad but keeps you interested to keep on reading.
I didn’t see the end coming. The narration was superb and gave the storyline a richness I hadn’t expected. It left me craving more.
Loved this book
Wow. I did not expect the twists, and because of those I kept reading instead of going to bed. Tired the next day! This isn't the average storyline and you might get freaked out. Non-standard ending is how the author puts it. Very true! Just read it.
When a mysterious letter arrives on Kayla’s dining room table the same day her husband is buried, she realizes her life may not be going the way she thought it was. The letter itself contained just one sentence: “I’ll wait forever if I have to.” - signed by a Dante and postmarked from the state penitentiary. When Kayla sends a response asking who Dante is waiting for, his response is “You”. While they send letters back and forth, she is convinced they’ve never met, but Dante says they have. After a few letters back and forth, Dante stops responding. While Kayla is a bit sad, she’s also relieved that they’re done conversing. That is until he shows up at her door. I ate up this book so quickly. I also listened to most of it via audiobook. I loved the narration of this story. I don’t want to say too much and give anything away. I will say that I recommend going in blind, but if you have any potential TWs and you want to know if it’s in this book, just message me and I’ll let you know! I will also not including any tropes because I’m recommending going into this blindly. Take care of yourself. ♥️
A bit too much spice at times, but an overall fantastic story. The plot will sit with me for a long time.
