Unabridged Audiobook
Amazing book and gripping throughout
Time jump was a bit jarring but necessary for the next phase of the saga. Thrilling!!!!
Wow, things got super depressing in this one - Everyone got old, things don't work as well as they use to, then the galaxy went to hell and this time nothing good happens and no one could fix it in then end...
All previous books have been half despair half resolution, as proper adventure books should be. This is pure despair, from beginning to end; I expect the next one will be a resolution, but that doesn't help at this point since that book isn't out yet and this book should be able to stand on it's own.
Another amazing story narrated perfectly! Highly recommend
I have listened to this book a few times.
I agree with a lot of the reviews that this book is probably the most depressing in the series. I did however think it transitions very well from what could have been the same old story is rehashed and as such is an excellent progression of the storyline and the narrative universe which the authors have created. Yes it is depressing in the way that the story has gone but I think it opens up for the last two books beautifully. Looking forward to reading the next one and the release of the final book when it comes out later this year.
Best narrator I have listened to.
I thought it was good as part of a series. As a stand alone novel I would consider a small dose of Lexapro.
Not my favorite installment in the series. However, when one invests in a space opera, one must expect a lull before the crescendo. My chief disappointment is the amount of time from the last installment (in story) to the events of this episode. The authors chose to skip several decades, and I am not sure why. But hey, it’s their story.
