Summary
Bestselling author Terry Goodkind's epic Sword of Truth series continues with the next stunning installment, Phantom

On the day she awoke remembering nothing but her name, Kahlan Amnell became the most dangerous woman alive. For everyone else, that was the day that the world began to end.

As her husband, Richard, desperately searches for his beloved, whom only he remembers, he knows that if she doesn't soon discover who she really is, she will unwittingly become the instrument that will unleash annihilation. But Kahlan learns that if she ever were to unlock the truth of her lost identity, then evil itself would finally possess her, body and soul.

If she is to survive in a murky world of deception and betrayal, where life is not only cheap but fleeting, Kahlan must find out why she is such a central figure in the war-torn world swirling around her. What she uncovers are secrets darker than she could ever have imagined.

I loved this book and loved the narrator. It is such an epic novel with so many well developed characters, I also really enjoyed the narrator despite what some other reviewers thought!

Someone pointed out in a previous review that the narrator lectures. I don't blame them one bit. That was the story and a weakness of that story. Further, at around 23 hours, this story feels like a glorified clip show of a television series. Too much happens that makes the book worth reading, but it feels like characters say remember when we did this or that way too often for my liking. I think that is what hurts this book the most. It is essential reading for the story while not giving enough for fans that are hungry for lore and new stories in the series.

one more great book in the series but the narrator is annoying, creates too much drama and yells where not necessary and also reduces his voice where unnecessary i wish Jim Bond was the the narrator of all the series. anyhow, one cant have what one always wants, plus i believe this narrator is giving his best for the audience.
