Unabridged Audiobook
Well written, but much more information than I cared to know about the discovery and use of DNA. Entire chapters are devoted to it. Not what I was expecting in a true crime novel....just the facts please ma'am.
The actual story is tragic and incredibly sad, however, this book is soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo drawn out and filled with information not needed to tell the story. This quickly turned into a yawn fest. DNA is interesting and unbelievable, but I didn't sign up to listen to a text book. It's not half bad if you only listen to a couple of tracks per CD, but I wouldn't read this book again... unless I was having trouble sleeping.
Great non fiction detective yarn and is well read. Only drawback is that at times it gets way too technical for too long in DNA background. Other than that it is well above average for the genre.
