Summary
After killer Shelia Eddy pled guilty to first-degree murder and was sentenced to life in prison and Rachel Shoaf was sentenced to thirty years for second-degree murder, family, friends, investigators, and other key sources reveal the facts you would have learned if the case had gone to trial. Including specific details drawn from Rachel's confession, Pretty Little Killers looks at the crime through the eyes of the victim and killers, providing intimate testimony from the pages of Rachel's personal journal, Skylar's diary and school papers, and court records.

Daleen Berry and Geoffrey C. Fuller examine all this, including previously unreported details about Rachel and Shelia's rumored lesbian relationship, and explain why more than one investigator believes that Skylar's murder was a thrill kill. Most important, Pretty Little Killers provides a satisfying answer to Skylar's final question: 'Why?'

Nice book. The narrator is Very irritating when she makes her voice sound different, when reading statements, from different characters in the book!

Heartbreaking account of the brutal and senseless murder of a 16 year old girl orchestrated by the last people you would suspect. The book seems extensively researched and well written the narrator was ok although at times monotone. I did enjoy the book but it is sad to listen to. Skylar seemed from all accounts a bright and lovely kind hearted girl and hard to understand why anyone would want to kill her but the fact that it was her best friends makes it even harder. my heart goes out to Skylars parents who trusted and even stood up for those girls before she knew the truth, Skyler could have gone on to do great things however those girls are a waste of oxygen.

This was a captivating listen. The writing & narrator were perfect. I hope and pray Skylar's parents found some sort of peace.

Very good story! I think it could have been shortened a little, felt like the book repeated itself a lot but overall good read!
