Unabridged Audiobook
Wonderful! I came to this after listening to her rendition of Emma which was covered in a long review in The New Yorker. She brings out the humor in Pride and Prejudice. There isn't a boring moment. Bravo! More!
Larkin's narration of this great classic is brilliant. It is also the funniest version of Pride and Prejudice I have heard. Larkin's portrayal of Mrs Bennett in particular had me laughing out loud. THIS is the way to introduce Jane Austen to a modern audience - by putting the great author's material into the hands of a great narrator. It was a delight to listen to. It felt like theater.
