Summary
Three women learn that the heart of their historic home holds a mystery of years gone by, as #1 New York Times bestselling author Nora Roberts brings her In the Garden trilogy to a captivating conclusion.Red LilyA Harper has always lived at Harper House, the centuries-old mansion just outside of Memphis. And for as long as anyone alive remembers, the ghostly Harper Bride has walked the halls, singing lullabies at night…Hayley Phillips came to Memphis hoping for a new start, for herself and her unborn child. She wasn’t looking for a handout from her distant cousin Roz, just a job at her thriving In the Garden nursery. What she found was a home surrounded by beauty and the best friends she’s ever had—including Roz’s son Harper. To Hayley’s chagrin, she has begun to dream about Harper—as much more than a friend… If Hayley gives in to her desire, she’s afraid the foundation she’s built with Harper will come tumbling down. And that wouldn’t be the only consequence, since her dreams are tangled up with Roz and the nursery. Hayley will have to put the past behind her to know her own heart again—and to decide whether she’s willing to risk it…

Great trilogy! Loved the series. It was nice to follow the "family" through all three books. I was sad to come to the end of the series.

I love these three story book groups that Nora Roberts writes. It's like a chance to get to know all the characters really well without having to read one long book at once. This one was great. Lots of fun with the ghost. Easy to listen to as I ride back and forth to work.

Nora Roberts books don’t age well, this one included.

This is the final book of the series following the goings on of a years old mystery of a ghost and the three women who become close by the secrets finally unwinding. At times it seemed to drag a little and though it didn't quite ramp up the suspense it was at times funny and cute and sad. Love the narrator's range of voices and that Southern accent.

This book is no Jane Eyre but I enjoyed listening. Agree wtih previous comments, I also found the reader's accents annoying.

trilogies always draw you in for more. Chick lit but entertaining and characters you would really like to know.

Talk about a predictable and terrible romance; book this was it. It held so much promise at the start and quickly faded into repetitive and boring romance writing. I think the author must have been paid by the word because I don't how many times they would describe the same character in different ways. He was beautiful, he was pretty, he was dark haired and pretty etc, etc, etc. Not one of this authors best efforts.

I enjoyed this book as much as I enjoyed the others in this series (Blue Dahlia and Black Rose). It definitely keeps one listening and I actually found myself parked in my driveway just listening because I couldn't bear to end the story there.

There have only been a few books I have deemed worthy of five stars, but the flower series by Nora Roberts is definitely worthy! I just finished this last book in the trilogy and I am SO BUMMED that it's over. I found them extremely enjoyable!

This was a wonderful book. Being that I have read the other two of the trilogy this book was well written and flows very well with the others. Even if you haven't read the other books this one is still good by itself; just makes it better if you have read the other two first.

Loved this book. I must be a sucker for love stories and family ties. Be sure to read the other two in the series first, it will make this one that much better. I had a hard time turning it off, but that is pretty normal for me with Nora Roberts.

I was actually disappointed in this book, I loved the first two in the series but the narrator just got annoying and the book dragged on. Nora goes though this whole deal about grafting a red lily and then she doesn't even mention it at the end. I just got bored with the story line!

I usually enjoy a book by Nora Robert's, this was one of them. I was not a fan of the narrator of this story and found her accents annoying and the character voices tended to blend.

What a wonderful conclusion to this trilogy. Thoroughly enjoyed the listen.

Odd sort of story. I kept wondering if I missed a prior book as the story tended to reference previous events that were not visited in this book. That was distracting, but I found myself actually fast forwarding through the boring lessons on plant grafting and some of the sex talk/scenes seemed to be included just to promote a feminist view. Hayley discussing her vibrator with Harper was just too-much-info, unrealistic and totally unnecessary to the storyline. The plot was okay but the author could have had a really good book if she had focused on the ghost and fleshed out her past history. For that matter, none of the characters were given much depth. The ending was not only predictable but the story just ended leaving several questions unanswered.

Loved it, loved it, loved it! I first read Blue Dahilia and could not wait for the rest in the triology! I am sad that they are finished. It had a great mixture of romance and mystery! Highly recommend all three in this series!

Initially I liked the book, but then it became a bit long, and I was anxious for it to be over. It probably would have been better in an abridged version.

Great ending to a great trilogy. The narrator did a good job varying her voice for each character.

Leave it to Nora Roberts to write an excellent book...she is one great writer and if you like her Nora Roberts books, you have to try one of her J.D. Robb books the In Death Series!!!!!! smiles.

This book is not to be missed by any Nora Roberts fan. She keeps you enthralled from the first word to the last. The book can be read on its own, but I recommend listening (reading) to the first two in this series first, to get the whole picture.
