Unabridged Audiobook
This is a short summary of different ways criminals committed crimes at the time (~1900). It doesn't go into much detail - I felt like a lot of the book came across as simply 'listing' different crimes, e.g.. people crack safes, people pick-pocket. A lot of the methods are also outdated (obviously), but some readers might still find them interesting. There are one or two descriptions of crimes that stuck with me, e.g., the diamond stuck in a piece of chewing gum under the counter. But overall I wasn't blown away by the book.
Interesting. Wonder what he would think about today’s scams…
