This book is an absolute gem! Colette Rhodes has once again delivered an incredible story that captivates the reader from the very first page. The characters are so well-crafted and nuanced, with Grace, our FMC, being a standout with her relatable struggles and complexities. The world-building is exceptional, and the mythology spin is a refreshing and genius take on the age-old tale of choosing between light and darkness. The slow-burn romance between Grace and Riot is captivating and makes the reader root for them even though they are on opposite sides of the moral spectrum. Colette's writing is incredible, with her ability to show rather than tell and create obsession-worthy characters like Bullet. I've reread it a few times and now I will relistening it ahah! Great narrator!
