Saving Noah

Great story that made me think about things I hadn't considered before in regard to molestation, pedophilia, etc. The narrator was possibly Canadian.

spoiler alert. I am not sure that I have ever had such a visceral response to a book. I can handle a lot of things and usually can move past it. but not this one.. I tried to ask myself many times how I would react if placed in the exact situation...For the life of me, I have no real answer..But for the mom to say "Noah was the real victim" and "those girls would get over it" made me so angry at her... I don't necessarily get triggered with suicide or even assisted suicide, but the actions of the father disgusted me too...especially in the end when he tells about his past.. I finished this book a few days ago and haven't been able to form the words for an honest, somewhat intellectual review...I just was to vomit myself with this book.

I love the author just not my favorite read

It’s hard for me to get behind any book where they call a pedophile the victim, and say “the girls will get over“.

This book is worth the read, it makes you think and question many things Loved it

Initially, I found it difficult to adjust to the narrator's voice, as it didn't match what I imagined Noah's mother's age would sound like, which put me off a bit. However, as the story progressed, I became more engaged, especially finding the narration of the final chapters deeply moving. Despite the challenging subject matter, the author successfully crafted an emotionally powerful book.

This was a hard one to get through but glad I finished. I know most people have mixed emotions on the subject of the book but it was a good story. Narrator was easy to listen to.
