Shadow.Self. by Joe Arden is a collection of his original poetry. I will start by saying I am not much a poetry fan, but I am a huge Joe Arden fan and when I saw he would be reading his work on audio I couldn't help but listen. I can't explain this work of art any better than the way it was described in the blurb so I will just reference the quote: "Arden’s work bleeds from the page in the same emotionally-charged fashion as his lyrical performances."

Not only is his delivery emotionally driven and incredible, but it gives an insight into his own feelings. No matter the length, sonnet, haiku, one line, the message is there, from darkness to hope and it is moving. I enjoyed this escape into his realm.
