Unabridged Audiobook
Love that the setting is England. You can’t but help fall in love with Melody,Marina, and Artie. Just a pleasant fun listen while I walk or drive. They narrator is awesome!
The first in this series of a ghostbuster. An enjoyable listen. The erotic fantasies of the main character irritated me at times.
I rarely give a 5. For me, a book has to be one I think about after and will absolutely read again. This story hit the mark! Yes, I literally laughed out loud. At one point I couldn’t breathe I was laughing so hard. The characters are fantastic! I love them all, even the ones I hate. Artie and Lestat may be my faves, though Melody, her Mom, her Grandma, and bestie are all wonderful. The men in Melody’s life? Smoldering and steamy! It’s definitely got more erotica than a lot of these types of books but it’s not overly done, and I thought it added to the book.
This book is actually laugh out loud funny. The plot and characters are excellent. The narrator portrays each character great, and makes it very easy to follow along. I only wish the books were longer because I couldn't stop listening and they seemed to end too soon. Also really hope the author writes more. Not only is the story line great, the intimate scenes are steamy, and all the little small add ins and personalities are hilarious.
This was a great paranormal mystery story. I really enjoyed the actual story line. I could do with out the lusty (tame compared to romance novels) daydreaming on the main character, Melody's, part and completely skipped a chapter as it was all about some moves a man, who would be too toxic a mix for Melody, was making and then being denied. But, seriously, why are Melody's only actual love interests not even somewhat likable character wise. It makes her look very superficial and masochistic. Still will probably read more of this series but with caution. I have a hard time continuing a series if the is more romance than cozy, which this borders on for my liking.
Love these books and the narrator is excellent too. Love the snarky humor and mystery is pretty good too. I give the highest rating to books that I will listen to again and this is one of them.
I thought the characters were fun, both the living and the not-so-alive, and the plot was solid, but I didn't think it was absolutely hilarious, as promised on the cover. I would have given it 5 stars if it hadn't promised laughs that it just didn't contain. It was still enjoyable and I'll probably listen to the next one.
Good book some good laughs.
