Awesome book awesome listen clear and crisp had me clinging to my Bluetooth
Set between Attack of the Clones and just before the opening of Revenge of the Sith, this story plays in integral role in explaining the manipulations of the Supreme Chancellor Palpatine as he manipulates just about everyone simultaneously, including Dooku, Grievous, Obi Wan and Anakin. For such a short story, it had a fast pace and focused on keeping the storyline knit tightly together. About 2/3 of the way through, I realized where it was going from a story perspective and found the last 1`/3 of the story to be the best part. The conclusion was satisfying and did quite a good job of setting the stage for Revenge of the Sith. Jonathan Davis as the narrator continues his excellent voice characterizations, helping me visualize each of the characters easily with his amazing vocal range. This is well worth the time and I do recommend this to anyone that enjoys the Star Wars storyline and especially to those that enjoyed Episodes II and III.
