The voices make the book seem way too kiddy. I would listen to parts while driving and then come home and read form the actual book and the experience was night and day. If the narrator just read it instead of doing voices it would be infinitely better.

First half was slow but 2nd half was amazing

Not enough excitement

I am a big fan of Claudia Gray's Star Wars contributions, and though this is not her best, it is a great read and provides some great details and insights regarding the High Republic era. Also notable for being the first time I have EVER encountered an explicitly asexual (LGBTQ+) character in any novel; nice to be represented.

Into the Dark is really good. It really sets up not only different Jedi in terms of personality and philosophy but different understandings of the force. Can’t wait till we get full dark siders in the New Republic Era.

Claudia Gray once more shows her greatness.
