Stealing Shadows

I started out with book 4 and then 3 in this series because they had good reviews of the story line and of the narrator. I finally decided I really wanted to continue at the beginning because I really enjoy the paranormal aspects and would find out if the narration was as troublesome as reported. The storyline was as in the other two stories in the series, truly suspenseful. I was very pleasantly surprised by the narrator. I think she did a very good job. Her pauses and way of speaking totally underlined the suspense and terror in the story. A powerful start to the series!

Thoroughly enjoyed this audiobook

The book content is very well written and kept me listening to hear the complete novel! However; the narrator, a different story all together. Every little sound she made was audible. Literally can hear the saliva in her mouth. If I wasn't into the story one chapter in, I definitely would not have continued listening.

The story was interesting enough but the sounds of the narrator breathing was almost so disgusting that i could hardly keep listening.
