Unabridged Audiobook
i personally loved the narrator, she gave emotion to the story. i realize many people who are not into the life of BDSM will find many parts of the book shocking. it aint no "50 shades...!" this book takes place in Paris. i believe in the 1960's... O is in love with Rene'. he takes her to a place where acts of BDSM are performed - including being sexually used by other men and shackled, etc... he leaves her there awhile. from there, he gives her to someone else...who is this person...what takes place between them? it is a shocking story - especially the end
Great book
Well that is off the bucket list....does stretch the hearing of detail and word structure. The reader soon absorbed by "O" passing from empathy to sympathy...it becomes personalized, Worth the involvement and turn one back toward God....
I think the narrator did a top notch job for not only translating, but also conveying emotion. The Book of O was a good listen. If you’re not from the BDSM or erotica world, you can still appreciate this story.
