Summary
Blind dates? Online dating profiles? Been there, done that.

Georgia Cummings has zero luck with dating, and the era of the internet is not her friend. No matter how fast she runs, how many corners she turns, she can't find her way out of this weird, alternate universe where men think dick pics are a replacement for small talk and getting to know a girl. One more crotch selfie and she might write men off for good . . .

But why can't she stop fantasizing about him?

Kline Brooks is the quintessential billionaire bad boy-dark, styled, short hair, muscles for days, and a panty-dropping smile.

Except-he isn't. As his employee, he won't touch her with a ten foot pole. And she won't touch him either.

Too bad their hormones missed the memo.

Contains mature themes.

Oh my goodness. I laughed so much. I loved the narration, while the story itself was predictable, the narrator's brought the story to life. Recommend

The absolute cutest! Funny and sexy. Wasn't over the top in either category. I played back several parts multiple times. Except for the billionaire boss, very practical relationship. Kwerky parents, friends and coworkers. We can all relate and sigh along with them. I'd listen again in a few months and recommend to my family, friends and some coworkers.

Dnf. The language was dated—sexist and offensive. The way the “gay best friend” was described and written grated.

An OK read, the writing is a bit overdone in places but the humour is good. The way the couple fall out and reconcile is particularly unbelievable but this is not realistic fiction to be honest. For all that he's basically a ticklist of tropes (rich but humble, sexy but patient, parent friendly and a good friend), Kline is a decent lead character.

I listened to this audiobook 2 times in a week, and I have NEVER listened to another book twice, period. It’s always been one and done-but this book is different. It’s hilarious, charming, and steamy. I hope future books by Max Monroe hold the same appeal!! Love to find a new author to binge. These are the 2 best narrators I’ve ever listened to. And that’s saying a lot. Wow!!! They’re both amazing!! I would listen to them read the dictionary, and I know they would make it worth while!

If you are expecting and old school romance novel then this book is not for you. But if you want to laugh and just listen to a modern day romance than this is the book for you. What's nice is there are two books after it as well. If you don't like the word f!@# give the book a miss. If you don't want to blush your face off, give this book a miss... if you are a prude... give this book a miss... narrators are totally brilliant.

The book is truly bad. Both protagonists are beyond perfect to the point of making them completely obnoxious and unbelievable. A humble, generous billionaire who looks like a Greek god and repairs old houses as a hobby, instead of hiring a contractor. Check. A super talented, incredibly sexy virgin who works under him, but he for some reason doesn't notice for two years, even though she briefs him on her work regularly. Check. Their "conflict" is not one at all and yet it culminates in the most over the top "grand gesture" I have ever read. Beyond stupid. As for the narration: if you have a male and female narrator, does it make sense that each reads a chapter including the opposite sex voices in that chapter, sounding weird, or would it have made more sense for all the female voices (regardless of the chapter) to be read by the female narrator and all the male voices in the book to be read by the male narrator?

For me the book just did not work. Took me quite some time to actually listen to it till the end and for the First time I used the 'fast button' I guess it is just my type of a book: too predictable within and the conversations just did not catch my interest. I also had difficulties following the lady narrator.

A little too contemporary and crass for my taste, but some good sex. Male narrator's voice was wonderful and sexy.
