Decent book with a good twist at the end

Incredible book! Totally blind sided by the ending.

I should have read that it was a young adult book before I started so I would not have expected more. That's on me. It is written like a high school English paper with the kids and all of their worldly experience are smarter and braver than anyone else. Narrators did a good job, it just wasn't my cup of tea.
