Unabridged Audiobook
I came for The Three Musketeers, and I stayed for the Count of Monte Cristo, and welcomed the surprise of The Lady of Camellias. Dumas has always been a favorite of mine. I have loved the Three Musketeers as a child, so hearing this rendition, I got to enjoy the tale all over again like an eight year old child. As for The Count, this version was wonderful. I wish I had it when I was in High School. It would have made the required reading that much easier. Having Toby Jones and Iain Glen in this tale was INSPIRED. The Lady of the Camellias is a story I have not read but absolutely understand why it was in the classics section. If you're looking for an easy avenue into Dumas' writing, give this collection a listen. I actors and directors did a profoundly magical job.
Superb. Excellent cast beautifully dramatised and directed.
