Unabridged Audiobook
Not being familiar with Jane Austen adaptions I thoorughly enjoyed this book on its own merit. It was both hilariously funny and heartbreakingly sad at the same time. Even though I started out disliking everyone but Annie and the Cousin Lous' most characters redeemed themselves in the end except for the truly awful Barrows Clan. There were some really good one-liners, grating sarcasm, and a lot of tenderness. I liked it enough to listen to it twice and the bittersweet end was the topping on a most delicious audiobook. Kudos to the narrator, who did an outstanding job on the voice-overs.
