I am really enjoying these Highlanders. As I said in my review of Beyond the Highland Mist, I am not normally a fan of Historical Romances. However, I like these books (or at least, the two I’ve read so far). I know they are set in the sixteenth century, but it’s lacking the over descriptive language that normally bores me in HR. These books are about the story, not the time and place. I liked Grim and Jillian’s story. It was different than what I expected with the berserker plotline, but I loved it. This was more emotional than the first book for me. I felt for both Jillian and Grim and felt like they were in an impossible situation. I can’t wait to read more.

To Tame A Highland Warrior, it is a second Highlander series. The story is another romantic love story; which grabs you and never lets go till the book ends. The Ultra warrior of Scotland, Gavrael/Grimm is afraid to love the woman he wants because it could cost her- her life. Jillian St. Clair is beautiful and headstrong, swearing that she will not give up on him. She is a strong female character, and I loved that she refused to give up on him. I loved both of their characters.
