Unabridged Audiobook
Riordan never disappoints. I blurred through this latest novel in Apollo’s series and, if anything, it is more epic, heart-wringing and breath-stopping than his previous works. Oh, and Apollo stuck in the body of a teenager named Lester is still making hilarious commentary on all the action. With our heroes facing undead warriors, devastating personal losses, and multiple villainous rulers, this is “Percy Jackson country” infused with a bit of Game of Thrones. Beautifully and wryly written; this is my new favorite Rick Riordan novel.
