I was excited to continue Cassia and Holden's story. Now in college and 21, but things really haven't changed much with these two. You definitely wanna read book 1 to get a well rounded feel of life before this one. I saw lots more growth with Holden than I did with Cassia, for sure. She was a bit much sometimes. Their age and maturity shows, rightfully so. So you have to remember that when you are used to more mature characters like I am. I did enjoy how vulnerable and raw they were. I think that's what drew me in the most. The narrators really portrayed those emotions as well. It kept me locked in. I was stressed and emotional with them that's for sure hahaha. So glad I got to read this and see what they overcame and get a good conclusion to their story. This was an HEA I really couldn't envision but it worked and felt so real.

Loved this audiobook. Oh my heart, it was so realistic. The performance by Bradley Ford & Tina Wolstencroft was perfect, just like the first book. Their voices were made for CAsia and Holden. I felt the emotions, the attraction, the tension between the characters and it was really good. I appreciated seeing them grow from high school to college. Cassia and Holden are meant to be, but their story is complicated. This book is well written and I loved how both characters developed.

love Charlotte’s writing and how we really realistic can feel all the emotion, pain, tension, angst of her characters. This is book two in Truth and Lies series. It’s a continuation from book one and picks up four years after the first book. Cassia and Holden are in their senior year of college. This story is filled with push and pull of a relationship especially in the college age. Cassia and Holden have a special kind of love that has blossomed over the years but are dealing with daily life struggles that keep brining tension up in a their relationship. This whole book I felt so much character growth between Cassia and Holden. This was a perfect continuation of the love story and just love seeing these two fight for everything. Audiobook is narrated by Tina Wolstencroft and Bradley Ford. These two are such a great duo for the voices of Holden and Cassia. You can feel all the emotion in their voices and just feel the love of these two characters. They also narrate the first book and recommend starting that one first to really get the full development of this story.
