Unabridged Audiobook
Love this series! Twisted hate was probably my favorite. I hope we get to read Stella’s story next!!!
5 Stars! I've been wanting to experience this series again and getting to do so through the audiobooks have been such a blast! It brings the story i love to life in such amazing ways. I started listening to Twisted Hate as soon as i could and the outside world faded away as the Twisted world consumed my mind. I loved this audiobook so very much! Having listened to both Cindy Kay and Aiden Snow during the first audiobook Twisted Love, i was super happy to find out that these two were narrating the whole series! Gah! Both Cindy and Aiden had me glued to my earbuds from beginning to end of this listen! Their narration as Jules and Josh was so fantastic! They both captured the hate, banter, heat, and feels in such addictive ways! I adored what these two brought to the story. I can't wait to listen to more of their narration in the near future! Jules and Josh's journey once again had me absolutely hooked! Jules is best friend's with Josh's sister. These two have gotten under each other's skin and been enemies from the get go. But what happens when attraction comes into the picture? You get to dig deeper with these two and get the real which had me falling even harder for them. There was so much more to these two. From the banter that was oh so entertaining to their blushworthy chemistry, i couldn't get enough of Josh and Jules! These two had me going through SO many emotions throughout listening. Getting to experience their story again in this new way made this book loving heart of mine so happy! It was so awesome being back in the Twisted world! If you haven't started this series, you so need to! With Twisted Hate, Ms.Huang has created such an amazing and unique enemies with benefits journey that brought ALL the feels and the heat! The stories that she creates are one of a kind and her words stay with me every single time. From the story to the narration, this is one unforgettable listen! I can't wait to listen to Twisted Games and Twisted Lies! Don't miss out on this series! ❤️
This is the third book in the Twisted series. I loved Josh and Jules' story. They are both amazing characters. Jules is beautiful, enigmatic, sassy, strong, and smart. Josh is very handsome, and protective. They are perfect together, and I liked their banter. The storyline is funny, emotional, and intriguing, filled with mystery and intrigue. I liked the humor, and the little suspense in the story. The plot is well crafted and interesting. The supporting characters are great. This is a great enemies-to-lovers. Cindy Kay and Aiden Snow did an excellent job with the narration. I enjoyed it. Looking forward to listening to Twisted Lies, Christian and Stella's story, the next book in the series.
I received this audiobook for my honest review. Omg the hate banter between Josh and Jules is off the charts. I loved hearing from the previous characters like Ava who is Josh’s younger sister and Queen Bridget and Rhys. Anyways wow, talk about enemies to lovers slash should I cross the line of best friend older brother romance? Anyways, Jules is a strong soon to be law graduate student. She makes impetuous decisions that either get her and her best friend in trouble. And Josh is the one to be called to get them out, and not leaving Jules in the best light. Well through his eyes, anyways, during a getaway with Ava and Josh’s former best friend, they decide to make a truce so that there is no more bickering and that Ava can enjoy her birthday weekend. But can they keep it civil? Or will their hate turn into hot steamy dirty talking… you know adult times? Is this a one time affair? Or will Jules past come back seeking revenge and wanting something she can’t give? So many twists and turns and a bunch of why girl why? But so worth it.
Great steamy enemies to lovers romance. This is my first read from this author and I'm going to go down the rabbit hole now because it was a really fun and fast read (in my case, audio with a bit of the book thrown in when it wasn't, ahem, convenient to listen to because the steaminess factor is high!) Josh and Jules are enemies even though Jules is his sister's best friend. The banter/insults are fun and written in such a way that it doesn't seem like either really cares and in fact, really like to be noticed by the other. There are a couple of side stories- Josh and his father (apparently, this is an arc started in his sister's book, the first book in the series so I'll be going there next) and Jules and her past (which leads to the introduction of some unsavory people.) It's also really great to have an Asian hero, and a cool one to boot. Bad boy Josh really made me stand up and take notice. I do have to say that the enemies to lovers aspect felt a little underdone in that yes, there were insults and banter but it never really felt like they were true enemies- they pivoted really quickly in my mind. But still, a great read, a fantastic listen (sigh, Aiden Snow!) and an interesting arc that is making me need more from this author.
Love love love every part of it
Love the series overall. Looking forward to the book on Stella now. I enjoyed the relationship between the characters and the way they would beaker. It was not my kind of book b/c of the type of bedroom relationship with sexual abuse content. Disappointed.
