Unabridged Audiobook
Great way to travel listening to this book
LOTR. It's awesome. Just read it. True classic. Absolutely loved the entire series!
Amazing narrator. Amazing book. What are you waiting for? Hell to freeze over?
Awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!
A classic, story is sick af, narrator is dope
very good tale of adventure. The narrator does amazing voice acting as well as singing.
So much of life and wisdom is in Lord of the Rings. Rob Inglis adds to the written word by doing all the voices expertly (which is difficult when the voices are women's) and his singing adds a dimension missing from the written word. The set of all three recordings, one for each book, is a treasure.
great book, great narrator
Very good book
Excellent story and narration.
Loved it.
One of the best books to listen to at work even the customers were getting into it
Loved the audio. I had forgotten so many great things from my reading it years ago.
The narration’s not so bad
Loved the book. Tolkien is always and forever a legend among fantasy authors. The narrator truly brought the characters to life. Already looking forward to reading /listening again.
Best book of the trilogy! Some of the best characters and plot are found in these passages, and every piece moves the story along without the extended start-up of Book 1 or wrap-up of Book 3.
I love this story
Wonderful! Nobody does stories like Tolkien! This is the perfect next chapter in the trilogy and leaves you wanting more!
This is a thoroughly enjoyable rendition of this book. Robert Inglis does a great job and makes all of the characters sound believable. The reading of the book truly transports the listener to Middle Earth.
Enjoying the book. The reader/actor is doing a masterful job of changing is voice so I hear the different creatures. Can't wait to start the next book.
This book is great I highly recommend it. The story is dramatic, funny, and full of action. You meet so many different kinds of creatures. Two thumbs up.
A faithful and beautifully narrated version of the fantasy epic that defines the genre. A .
I could and do listen to The Hobbit, and all three of the Lord of The Rings recordings over and over. Rob Inglis is a superb narrator and really brings the characters to life.
Rob Inglis is extremely talented. He has a voice for every character and even sings the songs in each person's voice! The parts involving Treebeard when I read them used to bore me, but because of the interesting and whimsical rendition of Rob Inglis, i listened intently and with delight. Listening to this beloved series, which I have read many times, becomes fresh and new with voice of Rob Inglis.
Great voices and really pulls me into the story. Particularly his gollum voice. For a novel that is so near and dear to my heart, I appreciated this rendition.
