Unabridged Audiobook
I've grown up watching Priyanka Chopra's movies. I've been a Bollywood freak in my teens. I wouldn't say I was a crazy fan of hers but I did admire her amidst all the controversies and rumours she's been a part of. My expectation from this book was fairly high. I expected to get a few answers to why and how she coped with her Bollywood boycott and how she managed to advance her career when people went against her. I feel the book needed a little more depth into her Bollywood career for her millions of fans from Bollywood. Then again, it's my personal opinion. Apart from this aspect, this book was quite a treat. There's another part I did not like about the book was the final chapters. The graph of interest started to drop soon after her 'Shadi'; the book then became an advertisement of her social work and UN stuff, which was cool at the beginning but later it got a little stretched. The ending could've been a little more organized and smooth, it was rather sudden and abrupt. The narration was great, why wouldn't it be though? It's PeeCeeJay after all!
It was amazing
Such a touching story! Priyanka gets so vulnerable sharing her personal struggles, insecurities as well as strengths. Her multicultural exposure adds a special flavor to the book. She sees this life on a beautiful way.
