The book was okay. Not her best work. That being said, the narration was just plain bad. You got no sense of the emotion the author was trying to convey because the narration was either flat or sounded angry. When the author wrote something that was supposed to be banter it came across as blah and that made the story drag instead of flow.
Not my favorite Jodi Picoult book. I found it very predictable . I also found that the main character was a little annoying and was too "Damsel in distress" for my taste
Great story, but the narrators were a bit dull. Too many pauses.
Jodi Picoult is one of the greatest authors ever. I first read "the storyteller", (one of the best books I ever read!!!!) then I read "my sisters keeper" (I cried like a baby!!) and now I'm finished with this one. It's a great book, and If you are a Picoult fan then It's a must read. However it's not as good as "The storyteller".
