As a fanatic of WWll historical fiction... this was among one of the best Holocaust novels I’ve read. Each character I caMe to love so deeply. MUST READ

A touching and heart rendering story about a Polish family who endured the atrocities of WWII and managed to survive, reuniting after the war. Each family member had to face struggles, fears, and decisions which were never clear cut. It’s a book about love and survival during a dark period of history.

A Jewish family during WW II in Poland showed courage, strength, and survival skills to be together again there was an excellent narrator, giving good continuity to this story

I really liked the book. It was a bit difficult to follow all the characters though. I think a hard copy would have been easier. I wanted to at least hear the story before I watched it on Hulu.

Igot through about 3/4 and lost interest. The booked just dragged on and on. It was kind of like a memoir more than good character development.

Really enjoyed the book. Hard to imagine the atrocities committed and the amazing miracles of this era of our history. The characters were well defined and the story told in a believable voice.

Amazing book. I learned so much about this time in history

This is the story if a huge family that, against all odds, survived the nazis during World War II in Poland. Of course they are separated and follows a ten years Odyssey all over the World. The book has harrowing moments that will go strait to your heart and will make you sob non stop. I learned a lot about the fate of the Polish Jews during these dark times for humanity. While the title lets us understand that they will see each other again, the fact that we know, doesn’t take anything away to the suspense in the story. The book is riveting and all I did for three days is listen to it. Definitely one to remember!

The narrator was one of the best I've every listened to. There were many accents required and some dialog in foreign languages. She was masterful and kept me rapt with attention. What a wonderful , and heart-wrenching, true story of one Polish/Jewish family during WW2. I loved this book and didn't want it to end.

Beautifully written. A heartwrenching tale that makes you feel the emotions right along with the characters. A monument to the endurance of the human spirit.
