Both upbeat and thoughtful. A great opportunity to hear Mindy's personality come through her reading. I didn't love the hypothetical email story because it included repetitive text that your eyes can skip over in the book but are forced to listen to on audiobook.

I'm a huge Mindy fan so I'm a bit biased. I had read this book twice before but wanted to have the option to listen as well. This book is a must for any woman ranging from 16-40's. It's a great laugh as well as inspiring.

This is the first autobiography/self-help book from a comedian that I've been able to finish. Mindy is modest and funny and shares just enough "girlie" stuff to keep it real.

I was hesitant at first but when I started listening I was totally hooked. It's a woman must read book.

This is my second audio book and now I'm addicted. My first was Tina Feys and her voice was so annoying I wanted to throw up most nights. Mindy is upbeat, hilarious, cute and a natural. I enjoyed soending time just lying down listening to her as if she was telling me these interesting life stories about romance, her career and eating habits. I didn't like the whole college time though and that went for ages.

I honestly did not know that much about Mindy prior to listening to this audio book. I thought the start was very slow. I did think that it got more interesting has the book progressed. She is so funny and I enjoyed listening to her. Very funny lady

I was a little surprised as to how much I loved this book. Sometimes a little unorganized (jumping from one topic to the next) but other than that, funny, even moving, and inspirational. I liked the mindy project on tv, though didn't love mindy as a character that much, but now after listening to this book I have a new found respect for mindy kaling. I'd even listen to it again!

A fun, quippy account of her life. Fun yet real recounts of her life give a clear insight into her inner monologue, opinions and experiences. Easy to listen to whilst pottering.

Loved this book. A perfect comedic relief in between my usual thriller novels. I've watched/read everything she's written so I had prior love for her work. If you are a fan of The Office or The Mindy Project, you will love this.

As audiobook, I am totally engrossed and wish it is longer.
