Summary
The tiny, well-ordered seaside village of Merham holds little to interest the adventurous-except for Arcadia, the breathtaking art deco house perched above the shoreline. Attracted to this magical place, young Lottie Swift surrenders freely to its temptations and ultimately must face the hard consequences of her actions.

Years later, another young woman comes to Merham. A designer hired to make over the now-empty Arcadia, Daisy Parsons seeks a new beginning, as Lottie once did. Fleeing a broken relationship, Daisy finds refuge at Arcadia, and something more-a love she thought she would never know again.

I love Jojo Moyes books. I've listened to 3 in a row. The only problem is that t's hard to keep straight the characters I had to rewind many times to figure out what was going on. But once I got everything straight, it was spellbinding. S I've listened to three of Joni Moyes books and find them to be the same. I I love the generational thing , Love the relationships, twists and turns. , But if she could make keeping track of the characters easier that would make her stories even better. Also, the reader is excellent. She make me want to figure out what is going because her voice is so pleasant. I'm

This book started out with an interesting story and well developed characters. For some reason the author decided to jump years ahead, and focus on characters to intertwine with the original characters but these new people were never fleshed out as well. There was a romantic storyline that seemed forced, as the characters had few scenes together that would indicate that they were falling in love. This is the first book I’ve read by this author, and some say this isn’t her best. I may try other books by her to see for myself if she can do better.

Amazing story about love, loss, and the place, Arcadia, that brings everything full circle. Great narration, too!
