I loved hearing about the places Tony traveled but I missed Tony being so irreverent in some of his words. Hearing someone else saying them was sad. The ending was abrupt. They were talking about a place to eat and then BAM! it's done. Tony always had something to say at the end of his stories and I had hoped they would find something from all of his writings to finish the book.
As all things "Tony" this is a great read/listen....except it's hard to listen to! There is absolutely no emotion, and there is no way in H E double hockey sticks would HE be entertained. This is just my opinion and I'm sure they did their best, but after listening to Anthony Bourdains other book narrated by him this one just hurts. Good try but I'll just read the book myself and and listen to the voice in my mind. Thank you for the try, thank you for the book, and rest in peace chef!
