Peter Brown is a freelance writer, online journal editor and writes for several websites. This is his second book for Amberley. He was born in Prittlewell in 1959 and has lived in Southend-on-Sea most of his life. Initially entering into investigative research on behalf of families of soldiers and ex-pats from around the world, he also collated information for authors of local and military history books. He has recently published his own book 'RAF Southend 1940-1944'.
