Alexander Rose is the author of the New York Times best-selling Washington's Spies (basis of the AMC original series Turn), among several other nonfiction books. His writing also has appeared in the Wall Street Journal, New York Times, Washington Post, and many other publications. He earned his doctorate from Cambridge University and is a member of the United States Commission on Military History, the Society for Military History, and the Royal Historical Society, as well as a Fellow of the Royal Society of the Arts.
