A former news journalist, Rod Gragg is an award-winning author and historian whose books on American history, including Covered with Glory, Confederate Goliath: The Battle of Fort Fisher, and the Illustrated Confederate Reader, have earned awards and both critical and popular acclaim. He also lends his expertise as an adjunct professor of history at Coastal Carolina University. Additionally, Gragg is the producer of War Memories—Remembering the Second World War, which aired regionally for ten years on South Carolina’s award-winning PBS affiliate. He and his family live in South Carolina.
