Glenn D. Bradley (1884-1930) was born in Kinderhook, Michigan. He earned a PhD in history at the University of Michigan and taught history in various high schools. He later became an associate professor of history at Municipal University, Toledo, Ohio; and taught English at Michigan University. Among his works are the books Winning the Southwest: A Story of Conquest, The Story of the Pony Express, The Story of the Santa Fe, and Fort Meigs in the War of 1812.
